PROGRAM OVERVIEW

From classroom learning to real-world experience.

Oxford College’s 52-week Clinical Research postgraduate diploma program is designed to help you build on your previous science or healthcare education and prepare for new opportunities in the clinical research field.

You’ll develop practical knowledge in areas such as clinical trial operations, research ethics, Good Clinical Practice, protocol design, data management and study monitoring. Along the way, you’ll learn how these pieces work together to support well-run clinical studies, protect participants and produce reliable research data.

Your training concludes with a guaranteed 14-week field-related placement, giving you the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in a professional environment before you graduate.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission requirements

This is a post-graduate program, so it starts from a credential you already hold. Any one of these three qualifies you.

ROUTE ONE
A BSc or equivalent
A completed Bachelor of Science degree, or an equivalent post-secondary credential in a science discipline.
ROUTE TWO
An Allied Health diploma
A completed diploma in an allied health field — nursing, medical laboratory, paramedicine and similar credentials are assessed on their content.
ROUTE THREE
A Pharmaceutical diploma
A completed diploma in pharmaceutical science or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
