Someone from Oxford will call you soon, usually today. Until then, there’s nothing you need to do.
Deciding is the part people put off for years. Everything after this is smaller than it looks — a conversation, some numbers, a date on a calendar. And you won’t be doing any of it on your own.
If you are worried you'll be the oldest, the newest, or the only one starting over — you won't be. A typical cohort looks something like this.
Registered dental hygienists work in general and specialist practices, periodontal offices, public health units, long-term care and mobile clinics. Many build a schedule of three or four days a week and keep it for a career.
Your advisor can talk you through what hiring looks like right now near you, and what hygienists in Ontario typically earn in their first year.
I chose Oxford because you actually treat clients in a real clinic, not just practise on mannequins. By graduation I’d worked with dozens of real patients.
When you request program information, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, postal code, the program and campus you’re interested in, and any questions you type. We also collect standard website analytics — pages visited, device type, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from a search ad).
Your information is used to answer your questions, connect you with an admissions advisor, send you program details you’ve requested (intake dates, tuition, financial aid options), and improve our website and advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
By submitting a form, you consent to Oxford College contacting you by email, phone, or text about the programs you asked about, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out of all communication at any time by contacting us or telling your advisor.
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement) to understand how visitors use our pages and to measure advertising. These tools may set cookies that recognize your device on return visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Your details are shared only with the Oxford College admissions team and the service providers that operate our website, forms, and advertising on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to support your enrolment decision and meet our record-keeping obligations under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005, then delete it. Access is limited to staff who need it, and data is stored on access-controlled systems.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within 30 days.
