Apache Spark Diploma Program

Oxford College’s 50-week Apache Spark diploma program teaches you how to process and analyze large datasets using one of the most widely used big data frameworks. You’ll learn to build data pipelines, work with distributed systems and uncover insights that support real-world decision-making.

Through hands-on training, you’ll process large datasets, run structured queries and develop data workflows using Apache Spark. You’ll also explore cloud-based and distributed environments, helping you build scalable and efficient data solutions.

Certification preparation
Our program prepares you to pursue the Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark and CCA175 – Cloudera Certified Associate Spark and Hadoop Developer certifications, helping you validate your Apache Spark and big data development skills.

Key program benefits
You’ll receive training in Spark Core, Spark SQL and DataFrames, along with real-time processing using Spark Streaming and MLlib. You’ll also build ETL workflows and use Python and Scala to develop distributed data applications in cloud environments like AWS and Azure.

Capstone project
You’ll complete the program with a hands-on capstone project where you design, build and deploy a full-scale data pipeline using Apache Spark. You’ll work with real-world datasets, perform structured queries or machine learning tasks and document your results as a portfolio-quality project.
