During the program, you will learn to assess injuries and trauma and provide emergency care such as oxygen therapy, CPR, spinal immobilization, IV treatments, bandaging and splinting before transporting patients to hospitals for further care. Our program also helps develop the essential communications skills required to get information from patients, family or bystanders and to relay details to dispatchers and hospital staff.
