Modern IT Operations and Automation Diploma Program

Oxford College’s 65-week Modern IT Operations and Automation diploma program teaches you how to manage and support the systems that keep organizations running. You’ll learn to work with networks, cloud infrastructure and system administration tools to maintain secure and reliable IT environments.

Through hands-on training, you’ll manage systems, troubleshoot issues and support day-to-day IT operations across networked and cloud-based environments. You’ll also explore how automation and monitoring tools are used to improve performance and efficiency, helping you support modern IT infrastructure.

Key program benefits
You’ll receive training in IT operations technologies including Windows and Linux system administration, networking and cloud infrastructure, scripting with Python and PowerShell and SQL databases. You’ll also work with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, DNS and API integrations, helping you manage, automate and support modern IT environments.

Certification preparation
Our program prepares you to pursue the Implementing and Administering Cisco Networking Technologies (Exam 200-301), CompTIA Network+ (Exam N10-009), CompTIA Security+ (Exam SY0-701) and CompTIA Cloud+ (Exam CV0-004) certifications, helping you validate your skills and strengthen your credentials as you begin your career in IT operations.

Capstone project
You’ll complete the program with a hands-on capstone project where you plan, build and document an integrated IT environment that includes networking, cloud, system administration and security components. You’ll present your work to a professional audience, demonstrating your troubleshooting, communication and project management skills.
